18 terrorists killed in security forces air strickes in Khyber Agency

PESHAWAR: At least 18 terrorists were killed and several sustained injuries in the air strikes at the militant hideouts in the valley of Terah in Khyber Agency on Sunday morning here, sources said.

Sources said that the security forces air strikes targeted the militant hideouts located at Toot Darra, Dohtavi and Ghaibineeka that destroyed several hideouts of the defunct Tehrik-e-Taliban on Sunday morning.

Sources further said that at least 18 terrorists were killed and several injured besides a factory making bombs, arms and ammunitions was also razed to the ground during the air action of the security forces.

I SLAMABAD: Three female students of International Islamic University Islamabad made it to the television headlines on Saturday as a court bailiff recovered them from the university hostel where they were allegedly confined by the administration. Cabinet meeting: Govt’s final decision about Taliban likely today

ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet meet got underway in Islamabad today (Tuesday) to discuss key national issues, including the process of dialogue with Taliban and options of military action against them, media reported. According to sources, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar will table the five-year National Security Policy before the cabinet for approval. He would brief the cabinet about the overall law and order situation in the country as well as measures being taken to combat militancy. Sources said that important decisions regarding dialogue with Taliban and action against militants in North Waziristan are also likely to be made during today’s session.
