2 killed and 8 injured in clash between two rival groups in Dera Ghazi Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Two persons were killed as rival groups exchanged fire on Sunday morning here, News4sub reported.

Sources said that an armed clash took place between two groups of nomads over some transaction that left 8 injured with bullet wounds, who were shifted the District Headquarters Hospital Dera Ghazi Khan, where two of them succumbed to their injuries.

Police registering a case have started investigation, sources said.

I SLAMABAD: Three female students of International Islamic University Islamabad made it to the television headlines on Saturday as a court bailiff recovered them from the university hostel where they were allegedly confined by the administration. Cabinet meeting: Govt’s final decision about Taliban likely today

ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet meet got underway in Islamabad today (Tuesday) to discuss key national issues, including the process of dialogue with Taliban and options of military action against them, media reported. According to sources, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar will table the five-year National Security Policy before the cabinet for approval. He would brief the cabinet about the overall law and order situation in the country as well as measures being taken to combat militancy. Sources said that important decisions regarding dialogue with Taliban and action against militants in North Waziristan are also likely to be made during today’s session.
